Kris Herbert (previously Kristen Herbert) is a fiction writer and literary translator of Hungarian from the Chicagoland area. They are a graduate of the University of California-Riverside's MFA in Creative Writing and Writing for the Performing Arts program and a Fulbright Hungary 2024/25 scholar. They are currently based in Szeged, Hungary, where they are completing an original crime novel.
